Dejan Pilčević was born in 1971, in Užice, Serbia. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in In Belgrade in 1997. Since 2000, he is employed in Military medical academy in Belgrade where he passed the specialist exam in internal medicine in 2005 and subspecialist exam in Nephrology in 2012. Elected to Teaching assistant of internal medicine at the Medical faculty at Military Medical Academy at University of defence Republic of Serbia in 2012. and to Assistant Professor in 2021. He defended PhD thesis in 2020 in Faculty of medical sciences University of Kragujevac.
Head of the Department of clinical nephrology and peritoneal dialysis Clinic for Nephrology of the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade.

He was Principal internist and Head of ICU of Serbian level 2 Military hospital in UN peacekeeping mission “MINUSCA”in Central African Republic in 2015/2016 and in 2017. Cheef of department in Temporary Covid 19 hospital “Stark arena” in 2020/2021.
Full member of ISN, ERA; Secretary of Nephrology section of Serbian Medical Society 2011-2015; President of supervisory committee of Nephrology section of Serbian Medical Society 2012-2015; President of supervisory committee of Serbian Society of Nephrology 2018-2022; Member of Management bord of Serbian Society of Nephrology since 2022;
